Redux Contemporary Art Center

Intro to Screen-Printing - In this 3-week long course, you will learn the basics of screen printing. You will have either two one-color images or one image with two different colors. We will not be using computers in this class, so no Illustrator or Photoshop. Instead, we will be hand-drawing the transparencies to be burned onto the screen. You will create your image, learn how to prep and burn your screen, and then ink your image.   All materials are provided just bring your ideas. Hope to see you there! ***The first class will be 2 hours and the second and third classes will be 3 hours long.

Lowcountry Artists Gallery

Lowcountry Artists Gallery presents a new exhibition of photographs by Nicole Robinson for the month of June in a show entitled “Wave Therapy.” An opening reception will be held at Lowcountry Artists Gallery, 148 East Bay Street, on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 5-8 PM. The exhibit showcases Nicole's latest collection of photographs that bring relaxation and happiness by the shore and beyond. Zandrina Dunning is an accomplished vocalist and producer who performs a range of music, from soul to jazz. She can be seen performing with the Charleston Jazz Orchestra or her own band and has performed at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville TN, the Lincoln Theater in NYC, and other venues throughout the US and internationally with concerts that include tribute shows to Janet Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and more.
