All Balinese Food, Especially Sambal -- When I went to Bali recently I did not even bother to put on my swimwear because I was constantly eating. Balinese food in general is absolutely to die for, so full of flavour, well cooked and they sure know how to use their spices. The one thing that I was most impressed of was their way of experimenting modern dishes with a Balinese twist, even in cocktails. There are so many good restaurant options in Bali but my favourite is cooking it myself! Join a cooking class and learn all about their cuisine, and replicate it at home. I highly recommend Canggu Cooking Retreat, set in a stunning villa and operated by the Sarong Group who owns some of the most popular restaurants in Bali such as Sarong, Mama San and Hujan.
