Oysters -- Maybe because Ireland is an island in the North Atlantic (cue cold and fresh water) that's why their oysters are so damn good, in particularly the Kelly Oysters from Galway Bay. The Irish Oysters are quite big compare to the ones from Australia, they are meaty and creamy, but tender at the same time. Apparently oysters are such an established part of Ireland’s culinary background that it has its own dedicated oyster season with food festivals all over the country.
