Opened since 1908. This is one of the oldest restaurants in Los Angeles and home of the classic French Dip. I love the location of this restaurant as it is on the lower floor of the old Pacific Electric Building. Their sandwiches unlike Philippe’s, the other originator, offers the au jus on the side which is the classic way to eat one of these sandwiches. Dip and eat!
