If you don’t go to Oktoberfest, you did not do abroad right – literally the most insane place it is Disneyland for adults o A lot of people go with Stoke Travel – tent camping with unlimited beer and sangria o Wear a traditional dirndl (don’t buy a slutty one from Amazon you will get dirty looks if you do that) – I borrowed a dirndl from a friend who went abroad the year before me but if you don’t have one, there are stores in Prague that you can rent one from o Start off with drinking just one stein – remember that they are huge and like double % the alcohol – it’s easy to blackout at Oktoberfest but you’re going to want to remember it o My favorite tents were the Hofbrau and Hacker Tent – get to them early so you can get a table o Attractions: Marienplatz (the main square), Hofbrauhaus Munchen, English Gardens, Eisbach, Viktualienmarkt

Only flight we booked ahead of time with all your friends Lederhosen’s are everywhere (get your own don’t rent one they are fun to have) A Lot of people camped but hated it and slept on our floor because it was so cold I would find a cheap hotel ahead of time because everything filed to quick Go to the Oktoberfest Venue both days and get there early Thursday so you have time to explore, we were at the venue majority of the time it was so fun to see everyone from all over. Beer Houses: Biederstein: beer garten in Munich very fun to walk around, had lunch (fried food) Hofbrauhaus : fun beer house, restaurant, go with a group one night

Germany's third-biggest city is fresh, modern, and fun - where else can you find surfers riding the waves of a river in an urban park? A fantastic culinary scene ensures you'll fall in love with the local fare.

All we need to say here is food and beer! Sitting in a huge biergarten with a 1L beer and a pretzel is what Munich is all about.

Oktoberfest is the draw for most people to this beer/pretzel filled city but as an actual city it is one of the most beautiful I have been too. From the main square “Marienplatz” to the lush beer gardens. This is one I could continue to come back to over and over again.

Aside from the beer and pretzels, I loved that there was something to do on every corner in Munich

Oktoberfest is obviously not really relevant to you but Munich is cool!
