Kuang si falls- 45 min scooter ride, bear sanctuary and waterfall, must do, look for do not pass sign and then pass it haha, night bus back to border, buddah park Tubing down the nam song river

Giving alma to the monks — A humbling cultural experience I was able to partake in when I was in Luang Prabang, Laos. I was hesitant at first but after being encouraged to partake in tak bat by local Laotions I was beyond grateful to have been able to experience it.

Probably the coolest city I've ever been to. It's an old French colonial town on the banks of the Mekong River in the heart of the Laos. Plenty of European travelers, good food, and really cool tradition where Buddhist monks walk around and collect alms.

The coolest city I’ve ever been to. It’s an old French colonial city from the 19th century Indochina days. French cafes surrounded by palm trees and jungle meet the mighty Mekong river and Buddhist temples. Be sure to check out the night and day street markets and wake up at dawn to see the Buddhist monks walk through town to collect alms.

Enjoying the day in #LuangPrabang #Laos from a few years back 🇱🇦 ... I was about 7 pounds skinnier than usual in this photo, because I just got off a horrible case of food poisoning... Living in Southeast Asia since 2015, I get a stomach bug about once every two months. Am I the only one, or do you also get food poisoning when you travel? 💩🤐
