Love love love this place for some good food and classic southern dishes. Highly recommend the shrimp grits and chicken and waffles. This place is so pretty especially outside on the porches. Definitely a place to grab brunch or lunch!

Poogans Porch is such a cozy place with great drinks and yummy eats. I went with the pickled fried okra and Caesar salad. It was absolutely perfect 👌🏾

Poogan’s Porch Temporarily Closes: Iconic downtown restaurant Poogan’s Porch has closed its doors…temporarily. The culinary establishment, which opened in 1976, is suspending service as its 19th century home undergoes “improvements and restorations.” The building Poogan’s Porch calls home was first erected in 1891. According to social media posts from the restaurant, they plan to re-opened in a few weeks.
