Not sure why this park is named the Golden Gardens when it’s all sand and sun down here. This beach in Seattle accepts thousands of tourists every year for a beach volleyball match, a picnic by the sea, or summer swimming. It also gives you a nice view of the Olympic Mountains. Sunset by this beach is magical and you can end your day with a bonfire.

Golden Gardens is a public park located in Ballard. The park has a rugged coastline with dunes, forest trails, marshes, ponds and wetlands, grassy areas and one of the best views of the Puget Sound. You can take pictures of the fishing pier and hundreds of sailboats in the blue waters.

The best light sandy beach in Seattle in my opinion. Get ready to make the sand castle here. There is also a park and beach volley fields
