Graduate student workers are rallying at Vanderbilt University Wednesday to protest unaffordable housing. The university recently announced how much rent will cost at The Broadview at Vanderbilt, a future apartment building for graduate and professional students. But a graduate student group says even the cheapest units would take up about half of grad workers’ monthly stipends.

The rankings are based on statistics from the U.S. Department of Education as well as millions of reviews, according to Niche.

Four new restaurants added to the Taste of Nashville program - During the 2021-2022 school year, students got creative with their dining options after understaffed dining halls left them with few on-campus dining options. At the time, the Taste of Nashville program was a glimmer of hope that allowed students to use their Meal Money or Commodore cash at participating off-campus restaurants.

As announced in a press conference on Monday, Vanderbilt’s football stadium will be renamed to FirstBank Stadium, with the naming effective immediately. The 10-year naming rights agreement is part of a larger campus collaboration agreement between Vanderbilt and FirstBank, which includes a comprehensive multimedia agreement for all of Vanderbilt’s varsity sports and student and alumni engagement opportunities.
