Connect with your local farmers, makers and producers to shop for handmade and essential goods every Wednesday at the Holy City Farmers Market. The market is held on the marsh front lawn at Holy City Brewing, located at 1021 Aragon Avenue. The market will be open from 4:00 - 7:00 PM weekly. This is an outdoor farmers market. Shoppers are advised to wear masks and practice appropriate social distancing while in attendance. Vendor booths will be spaced a minimum of 6’ apart. Signage will be posted to help remind all in attendance to maintain safe sanitation practices. Hand sanitizing stations and restroom facilities will be available onsite. Vendors will be selling a range of products from specialty foods to hand sanitizer. Interested in Vending? The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) on Thursday announced its “Shot and a Chaser” campaign, a partnership with the South Carolina Brewers Guild to help boost vaccination rates among young adults. Through this new campaign, the single-shot Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine will be offered at participating breweries, with some breweries offering the two-dose Moderna vaccine as well. Anyone who gets their shot on-site from a trained medical professional will be offered a free beer or soda; those who choose a beer must be 21 or older. DHEC and S.C. Southern Screams, a new haunted house attraction, announced that its 2022 event “INSANE at Holy City Brewing” will open for 24 nights this September and October at Holy City Brewing in Park Circle (North Charleston).
