Less expensive than Lake Louise. Here you find many stores, tourists and options to buy whatever you need. It is a beautiful city surrounded by nature, but safe and not really inside the nature.

Explore Banff. Hike to Lake Louise or Moraine Lake, rent a kayak there if you can. Enjoy the nature around you. Be careful with the bears. Remember to buy food in Banff because it is less expensive there. Be ready for all kinds of weather - rain, wind, snow and even sunny days.

Take a day trip to Banff. It’s definitely my favourite way to spent a day! The local restaurants are spot on. Look forward to another list of Banff restaurants. Coming soon

Winter travel suggestions 1) ski the big 3: Mt Norquay, Sunshine Valley and Lake Louise 2) reserve a room at the Fairmont Banff Springs and stay at a castle in the mountains 3) take the Banff gondola up to the top for dinner at Sky Bistro (go an hour before sunset to experience the view during the day and night) 4) Explore downtown Banff 5) Visit Park Distillery and sample their house made liquors and cocktails 6) Explore the hot springs 7) book a dog sledding tour

One of myFavorite places in the entire world. The water is so crystal blue and the hikes are amazing and the nature is impeccable
