Since opening in 1927, The Hollywood Roosevelt has become synonymous with Hollywood history itself: the birthplace of the Academy Awards, the once-home to Marilyn Monroe, the locationi where Bill “Bojangles” Robinson taught a young Shirley Temple how to dance, and setting for Prince’s intimate five-show residency in the late 00’s. Named after the 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, the hotel is as legendary as the many stars who’ve crossed its thereshold, with style and service that embodies a modern revival of Hollywood’s Golden Age. All 300 guestrooms and Cabanas have recently undergone a 25 million dollar renovation, with interiors by award-winning design team Yabu Pushelberg, the hotel sets the scene for a luxurious Hollywood experience. Original Spanish Colonial Revival Style features and details remain throughout, offering guests a glimpse of its storied past.

Since 1927, The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel has been the playground of luminaries including Clark Gable, Charlie Chaplin, and Marilyn Monroe. As the birthplace of the Academy Awards, it exudes the allure and fascination of Tinsel Town from its inception. The Hollywood Roosevelt’s Spanish Colonial architecture has been restored to its original grandeur. A recent multi-million dollar renovation evokes the epitome of Hollywood glamour as the old embraces the new. The Blossom Ballroom has been restored back to its original magnificence. Featuring custom chandeliers, original tile and ceiling architecture, its detail is reminiscent of its 1927 origins. Space options include common and uncommon event, dining, and entertaining space. In all, the hotel has over 25,000 square feet of versatile event space consisting of 13 meeting and banquet rooms ans well as many unique settings such as our rooftop. With our various on property locations, The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel can accommodate 10- 1500 people.

In my “A Local’s Guide to Hollywood’s Best Nightlife” post, I mentioned how friggin’ adorable The Rosy Oyster is. They recently opened summer of 2017 and even the hotel itself is #aestheticgoals.
