Not only is this centrally located castle itself pretty cool, but the views from the top are some of the best in Lisbon. The line gets pretty long so I recommend visiting early to avoid the crowds.

I thought this place was pretty great. I went on a Thursday evening in hopes of it not being overcrowded with tourists, and it wasn't too busy. The site was well-run and organized, and offered nice scenic views of the city.

We bought tickets to go inside which in my opinion is worth it just for the 360 degree view of the city - Both looking over at the bridge and also in the other direction once you climb up the castle! We went around sunset time and got a glass of wine that came with a souvenir glass from vendors outside. There is a small museum part as well.
