Broad Street Live Presents Frank Duvall - Born and raised in Rome, Georgia, Mr. Duvall began his musical training in the fifth grade playing trumpet in the middle school band. After high school, Mr. Duvall auditioned and was accepted as a trumpeter in the US Army where he attended the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, Virginia. Upon leaving the Army, he completed his undergraduate (jazz performance) and Masters degrees (composition and arranging) at the University of South Caro Mr. Duvall toured the US with pianist/singer/entertainer Buddy Greco (who began his career in Benny Goodman's band) and lived in New York City for two years where he performed in jazz clubs (with Marian McPartland, Chris Potter and others), off-Broadway shows and worked in music studios. Currently, Mr. Duvall performs professionally on both bass and piano, is the bassist and an arranger for the Charleston Jazz Orchestra and also teaches at the College of Charleston where he is the jazz bass instructor plus teaches online classes covering the history of Pop Music in America and Women In American Popular Music.

The Establishment will be hosting a Four-Course Wine Dinner on Saturday, March 9th featuring some of Willamette Valley's best wines. Adelsheim Vineyard will be showcasing their Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs with Assistant Winemaker Shaun Vrooman. Chef Elliott Howells has tailored a complimentary menu to highlight these outstanding wines while showcasing our incredible local and regional ingredients. Broad Street Live Presents Emily Curtis - Emily Curtis, described as a "soulful pop artist with a southern flare", began making waves with her guitar and soulful vocals in the Charleston music scene in 2015. She has since released original music including her latest release, Battleshade. Some of her more prestigious show credits include opening for the country band, Parmalee in July 2019, and hometown favorites Hootie and the Blowfish with Carolina Country Music Awards’ Band of the Year, The Blue Pickups Band.

The next event in The Establishment’s 2023 Give Back Charleston Dinner Series will feature Executive Chef Elliott Howells working with four guest chefs (including two Michelin Star winners) to support the Bar Brew Grass Foundation, which provides financial support to the children and their families at the MUSC Pediatric Cancer And Blood Disorders Unit. The culinary event will be held on Monday, August 21st with dinner starting at 6:30 pm. Happy hour and light hors d’oeuvres kicks things off at 5:30 pm. Guest Chefs Mariya Russell (Michelin Star Winner), Nate Whiting (former chef at Ristorante Juliet and Relais Gourmand, a 3-star Michelin restaurant), Allison Porter, and Amanee Neirouz will all be in attendance.

This is a beautiful new restaurant on Broad Street near Oak and the Blind Tiger. The bar is amazing as it has a huge TV installation showing rotating views of beautiful nature scenes from around the world - beaches, mountains, cliffs, the ocean, etc. There is also a great chef’s bar wrapping around the kitchen where you can really experience the activity in the kitchen. The food is great, mostly seafood oriented and seasonal. The crab pasta is super decadent.

The Establishment is hosting a Tequila-inspired dinner on Thursday, June 22nd, starting at 6 pm. Chef Elliott Howells has created a 4-course tasting menu to accentuate the famous spirit of Jalisco. The menu will include multiple styles of tequila from Blanco to Extra Anejo and will also feature hors d’oeuvres, intermezzo, and a special sendoff amusement. Hors d’oeuvres and greet cocktails will start at 6 pm sharp with the seated dinner to follow at 6:30 pm. The menu will be as is, with no substitutions.

The Establishment will host a Collaborative Dinner Experience with Edmund's Oast on Thursday, May 25th. Edmund's Oast brewmasters will be on premise at to serve up some of their award winning avant-garde creations alongside Chef Elliott Howells's seasonally inspired cuisine. Dinner will consist of passed hors d'oeuvres followed by a five-course seated dinner highlighting both libations and culinary creations. Stay tuned for menu updates! Dinner will commence at 6pm in the main dining room of The Establishment. $105 ticket price includes both tax and gratuity. All refunds on ticket sales are final by May 18th. The menu will be set: no substitutions or adjustments please.
