One of the funnest spots in NOLA, expect a long wait but have a drink or two while you do, they only take reservations for large parties, WORTH THE WAIT, life changing

Probably doesn't make your typical classics list, but Jacques IMO's is hands-down my favorite spot for old school cajun eats. The atmosphere, the people and the food embody quintessential New Orleans to me. Plus that crawfish cheesecake keeps me up at night.
