Northern Lights watching spot
Posted over 4 years ago
Ranking high on most people's bucketlist - a chance to see a rare natural phenomenon known as the northern lights or Auora Borealis. Most of Iceland enjoys this phenomenon (winter months only) particualrly the north and west of the country. With a little bit of luck and a dark cloudless night you will witness dancing lights high in the sky in shades of green, pink, purple, sometimes orange and red.

You can try and see the Northern Lights without a tour, but an experienced guide will know the best places to go witness them. I have never felt so in awe seeing anything in my life - 10/10 would do again a million times!
