Grace Farms

This is one of my favorite spots in the world - extremely peaceful. The entire property, 80 acres, was previously a horse farm and retains much of the charming paddock fencing in places. There are walking trails and a pond. The facility, known as the River Building, has won numerous architectural awards and was designed to become part of the landscape without drawing attention to itself, flowing through the landscape and topography. The building is made of modern glass, concrete, steel and wood - lots of light infusing every room. There is a concert hall, a library, a wonderful coffee shop selling dishes that incorporate veggies grown organically on the property, a tea house and a sunken basketball court and game room. I spent many afternoons working remotely here.
