Whoa - you’d be hard pressed to find better Low Country soul food than at this tiny and casual roadside joint that’s been serving up comfort food classics for over 30 years! The fried pork chops and the fried chicken are mouthwatering. The Lima beans side (with huge chunks of pork belly), the cornbread, the boiled cabbage and especially the baked Mac & cheese are all standout accompaniments. And the staff is great - fantastic personality. Like eating at your grandmothers if she could cook like this!

Andrew joined Sean Brock, one of Charleston's most celebrated chefs, for a meal at his favorite place, this soul food restaurant. Andrew ate chitterlings and lima beans cooked with neck bones, pig tails, onions and sugar.

This Charleston classic (has been in business for 30+ years) is a must visit. The tiny, pink building houses some of the best southern staples in the city. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the fried chicken, lima beans, and turkey wings are amazing
