t’s time to get down and derby on May 1st for our annual Kentucky Derby watch party. We’ll be slinging Mint Julep specials courtesy of Bulleit Bourbon. Big hats, seersucker suits and all the fanfare is highly encouraged! It’s rooftop season! One of my favorite spots is the Vendue Rooftop for some bar food and a good drink. I definitely recommend climbing to the very top to take in the best views and they have an additional bar there as well!

Cocktails and light bites with a gorgeous view of downtown Charleston and the Ravenel Bridge. The nachos are fantastic and so are the drinks - I recommend the Strawberry Basil Lemonade or the Prioleau Paloma.

😱 KNOW THIS: Several people were stuck in an overloaded elevator at the Vendue last night. The people in the elevator were hooked up to harnesses and had to crawl up the elevator shaft wall to escape with the help of first responders. They were in the elevator for about 2.5 hours before they were rescued. No injuries were reported.
