Beer Pairing Dinner with Wicked Weed Brewing - Indaco will host a collaborative beer pairing dinner with Asheville, NC’s Wicked Weed Brewing. Each of the five courses will be accompanied by a signature Wicked Weed beer. Guests can expect coursed dish pairings like: Tuna Crudo with caviar and lemon crema Paired with Wicked Weed Fresh Pressed (Wheat Ale) Charred Octopus with confit tomato, butter bean, ramp pesto, and almond crunch and Calabria Pizza with ricotta, mozzarella, fontina, salami, Calabrian chili, and olive  Paired with Wicked Weed Perni Haze (Hazy IPA) Wild Onion Fazzoletti with braised beef cheek, green onion verde, and ricotta salata Paired with Wicked Weed White Angel (American Sour) Roasted Porchetta with local cabbage, pork fat potatoes, and black garlic jus Paired with Wicked Weed Freak of Nature (Double IPA) Vanilla Budino with cookie crunch, espresso panna, and cocoa Paired with Wicked Weed Milk & Cookies (Imperial Stout) The dinner starts at 6 pm

Indaco celebrated 8 years in business and is commemorating the milestone with an eight-course pasta tasting menu on Wednesday, August 25th. While the menu will be chef’s choice, get a sneak peak of specific pasta appearances via their Instagram page @indacochs. The tasting menu is $75 per person. There are two seatings – at 6 pm and 8:15 pm – with advanced reservation required. Amazing high end Italian cuisine located downtown, known for their wood-fired pizzas. Really unique seasonal menu with lots of different combonations of pizza toppings that you would never think to put together. If they have the brussel sprout, brie, and green apple pizza you have got to try it! Can't go wrong with any of the hand-crafted pastas either.

Great spot on Upper King Street for fresh, homemade pizza, pastas and creative Italian dishes. The ‘Nduja Toast w/ fried egg, squash and squash blossom was amazing (pictured). I also enjoyed the Agnolotti w/ smoked mozz, braised pork shoulder, San Marzano, hazelnuts and pecorino. It’s in the heart of the nightlife district, the lights are low, it’s on the loud side and the crowd is definitely prettier and trendier than me! But a fun spot nonetheless.
