All Balinese Food, Especially Sambal -- When I went to Bali recently I did not even bother to put on my swimwear because I was constantly eating. Balinese food in general is absolutely to die for, so full of flavour, well cooked and they sure know how to use their spices. The one thing that I was most impressed of was their way of experimenting modern dishes with a Balinese twist, even in cocktails. There are so many good restaurant options in Bali but my favourite is cooking it myself! Join a cooking class and learn all about their cuisine, and replicate it at home. I highly recommend Canggu Cooking Retreat, set in a stunning villa and operated by the Sarong Group who owns some of the most popular restaurants in Bali such as Sarong, Mama San and Hujan.

The Balinese people are some of the friendliest people we have met in our travels! To say that they love children is an understatement. A holiday in Bali with kids is as easy and laidback as they come. You can choose to stay in a hotel or the thousands of vacation rentals. You can rent any baby item that you may have left behind or chosen not to lug along. There are activities for all ages, from river rafting or yoga retreats in Ubud to hanging by the beach or going to the largest waterpark in Asia. Tips: visit Waterbom and the Bali Zoo

This might be the most beautiful view I’ve ever seen... EVER! It’s on Nusa Penida island just a 45 min boat ride away from Bali. Have you ever been or heard of this island before? ... PS - my parents are having an absolute blast in Asia 🇮🇩😊

The Obamas shacked up at the Four Seasons Resort Sayan. The Obamas went to Bali with their two daughters, Sasha and Malia, and were photographed white-water rafting down the Ayung River and touring a rice terrace.

Explore by motorcycle. The natural beauty in Bali is unrivaled. Most quiet local spots don't have a name. Just take the side roads and see where it takes you.
