If you go to one place in Costa Rica, I recommend Manuel Antonio. It's beautiful and there's a plethora of activities to choose from, including hiking, parasailing, and ziplining.

The beaches of this park are very well preserved, even if the sea is not as clear as in the carribean side.

Costa Rica and sloths go hand in hand, these lazy guys can be spotted hanging from trees in many of the national parks, and If you're lucky you may just see one on a walk!

It takes 3.5 hours by bus from San Jose. Really great beaches, Sloths and so many bird speacies in Manuel Antonio park, and if you like Parasailing, this is a great opportunity!
