Toledo is not too far from Madrid and definitely worth the drive or coach ride. It is a medieval city known as the city of three cultures with monuments and buildings of Christian, Arab and Jewish faiths.

Such a magical little medieval town! It’s a great day trip destination from Madrid and you should go to the city center and take the trolley ride around the city. You can see all of the city without having to do all of the walking. Take the train from the maid Madrid train station and transport into a whole other world

This is where I studied abroad and I consider it my second home. Toledo is stunning and full of so much history from 3 different religions

Awesome place for a day trip - about 1 hour away by both car and Madrid metro. The ancient walled city is small and perfect for walking around, as it's full of monuments and small shops/restaurants
