As China's capital city, Beijing has so much to offer! The Great Wall, The Forbidden Palace, and The Summer Palace are popular tourist sites, and be sure you also take some time to explore the old hutong neighborhoods

While Beijing undoubtedly has many beautiful sites worth seeing, the sheer size and vastness of it coupled with the language barrier often encountered makes this city not one for the faint hearted.

Beijing is an awesome city if you're interest in China. It is not as glitzy as Shanghai but there are more things to see in Beijing than anywhere else in China by far. It has its fair share of clubs and shopping if that's your bag too.

Beijing Tower - Central Radio & TV Tower (restaurant buffet). Rotating restaurant in Beijing's tallest building. Amazing dining experience and buffet which includes things like caviar stuffed lobster. Great dinner, but not even my favorite in China.

1) Of course, a visit to the Forbidden City was not missing on the to-do list. Attention: Since 1.7.2017 a ticket must be bought in advance, because the number of visitors has been limited to 80'000 per day. 2) A trip to the Great Wall is a must. 3) We also wanted to visit the " Temple of Heaven ", unfortunately this evening was already closed at 5 o'clock and only the park, which cost 35 RMB admission was still open. But this park is worth it, because it is nice and quiet and you can still see the temple behind the walls. 4) Another temple that I can recommend is the " Lama Temple ". Such temples are otherwise found only in Tibet and is something different again. One can observe many believers in their prayers and thus take up the mood.
