The city of the night, for having big parties. Quiet interesting to stay there in order to be flexible and close to visit some island, or National Parks.

It’s generally cheaper to fly into this city than the rest of Croatia (depending on where you are located) we stayed in an Airbnb while we were here and took buses from split to get to the rest of our destinations Zagreb Krka National Park Dubrovnik

Croatia in general is super underrated for its nearby islands and beautiful coast. Split stands out to me because of how quaint it is and how friendly the locals are. Not only is the city within an old castle, the surrounding area is full of beautiful trails and secret beaches.

Beautiful Croatian town full of lively music bars, retail shops and restaurants. Recommend taking a boat trip to watch the sunset (preferably a party one!) and visiting Krka Waterfalls is a must!

(plane): amazing, went to Hvar for a day and it was the best day ever. If you get a chance go here!!! We really really loved it.

A stunning coastal city with hiking trails up overlooking the water, many spots to swim (both public beaches and more secluded cliff jumping) and a beloved soccer team with a giant stadium.
