The Cologne Dom is one of the most visited landmarks in all of Germany. It is one of the most impressive churches I have ever seen (but don’t waste your time going up the tower as the view is not great). Instead spend your time at a typical german brewhouse, or do as the local do and grab a beer and watch the sunset along the Rhine River.

With over 6 different christmas markets all located within walking distance of each other, Cologne takes the cake for my favorite city for Christmas markets. The most well known market is set beneath the massive Cologne Dom and it is the perfect way to celebrate the season.

Cologne is my favorite German city. With the dome it is definitely the No.1 spot in Germany.

The first European city that I visited and one that I will never forget. An incredibly passionate Football (soccer) culture, a city bursting with life, and unbelievable architecture.
