I fell in love with the food, the canals to be explored on boat, the kindness of people and the amazing architecture.

Waffles: Thick and typically made with yeast that make them crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Belgium gets less acclaim than its neighbors France and the Netherlands, but it is one of my favorite countries on earth. The architecture is unique, quaint and fascinating, the chocolate divine, and the food is my favorite. It has the sophistication of the French and the heartiness of the Germans.

Brussels, Bruges, Ghent, this country has some beautiful cities. And who can resist their chocolates! The trip to this country will not be complete till you have tried their waffles, beer and mussels.

In my old life, from ages 18-24, I used to party a lot. It was nonstop. I would travel 4,000 miles just to go to an EDM music festival, like here in #Tomorrowland in #Belgium. I would get wasted and go clubbing until 5 or 6AM in any given city on a Tuesday night, just because it sounded fun. When I was 21, I started my first travel blog which was called “TheHungryPartier.com” ... go figure! . While I absolutely do not regret any of my past, it’s safe to say that I have really matured. Nowadays, I hardly go outside when it’s dark because I’m always editing. I traded hungover mornings for productive ones. If I do have a drink, two beers is more than enough. I’ve really focused on my career as a video maker and storyteller, which I’m proud to say I’ve reached almost a billion people. And I’m not stopping daily videos until I visit every country in the world! Can anyone else relate to me in terms of growing out of your partying years?
