Visa: To get a visa as a US citizen is a very detailed process, but it lasts for 10 years. You can even get a visa upon arrival at the airport. Countries aren't perfect, and China is no exception. However, I found the people very welcoming to foreigners, and the cities were filled with tons to see. Of course the customs are very different from those in the western world, so that alone is enough reason to go. Yet the country also has a deep history that's easy to discover in places like Xi'an and The Great Wall.

China truly has some breathtaking sceneries, which seem out of this world and are a feast for the eyes. One of these sceneries is the area of Mount Hua (Hua Shan), which has one of the most dangerous but also gorgeous hiking trails worldwide.
