VACCINE UPDATE: Trident Medical Center will begin vaccinating children 12 and up on June 3rd. First dose clinics for children between 12 and 15 years old will be held on June 3 and June 10 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Trident Medical Center Café B. Second dose clinics will be held on June 24 and July 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Trident Medical Center Café B. Ice cream will be given to each vaccinated patient and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

👍 TREATMENT SUCCESS: Officials with Trident Medical Center say that the monoclonal antibody infusion therapy at their facilities is helping to reduce COVID-related hospitalizations. They reported that more than 1,200 lowcountry and upstate patients who were newly diagnosed with COVID received the treatment and 97% of them were able to recover at home.

🎀 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS: On Friday, Trident Medical Center kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by lighting up the building pink. There was also a pink North Charleston Fire Truck on site to remind women to schedule their mammograms and perform regular self exams. They will be hosting their first ever Breast Cancer survivor Fashion Show on October 9th.
