🍏🍅WEST ASHLEY FARMERS MARKET: 3PM-6:30PM. Free to attend. The West Ashley Farmers Market hosts a variety of vendors, which currently includes; Fresh Local Produce and Locally Produced Packaged Food. Free parking is available in the parking lot immediately adjacent to Ackerman Park, located at 55 Sycamore Ave, just behind CVS and Rogue Motion Boats at the corner of St. Andrews Blvd and Sycamore Avenue. Restrooms & Sanitation Stations will be setup throughout the event for vendors and patrons to use.

The West Ashley Farmers Market in Ackerman Park occurs every Wednesday through October 27th. The market runs from from 3-7pm. This essentials-only format will feature vendors with local produce and locally produced packaged food items. Free parking will be available in the gravel lot immediately adjacent to the park. Vendors and patrons are encouraged to follow all current CDC protocols related to COVID-19 during the event. West Ashley Farmers Market - every Wednesday - The WAFM is dedicated to the support and advocacy of local farmers and growers and features fresh seasonal produce, as well as sweet and savory foods from area vendors who source ingredients from nearby farms. The WAFM will build upon the success of the CFM by expanding access to local fresh food, supporting the local economy and local agriculture, providing a civic gathering place and opportunities for community engagement. A curated program of live entertainment, rotating food trucks and family-friendly activities will enhance the farmers’ market experience. Addressing one of the key strategies in the City of Charleston’s 2014 West Ashley Strategic Plan, the WAFM will continue to help create community partnerships and reactivate civic spaces.

The West Ashley Farmers Market (WAFM) will resume on Wednesday, April 19th at Ackerman Park from 3 pm to 7 pm, continuing each week through October 25th. Market operations in October will conclude at 6:30 pm/dusk. WAFM will include farmers and growers, artisanal food products, rotating food trucks, live music, and free parking. Residents interested in being considered for vending opportunities as they become available in 2023 should complete an Expression of Interest form posted at CharlestonFarmersMarket.com.
