Jarritos, the popular Mexican soda brand, is coming to Charleston and will be paying the tab for locals at the El Kiosko Mexican Cuisine food truck on Tuesday, February 28th. Jarritos is showing up in select cities across the country, as part of its 2023 Respect the Taco Series, to show appreciation to local restaurants and encourage the community to support small businesses. El Kiosko Mexican Cuisine opened at the height of the pandemic by Jose Villaseñor Gonzalez. Jarritos said they chose Gonzalez for this event because he’s “an active member of the community who does his part to support the schools, banks, and central locations around Charleston and the surrounding areas.” Interested locals can visit the food truck from 11 am to 2 pm (first come, first served basis) at the Hanahan Amphitheater (3100 Mabeline Rd. Hanahan).

All dog lovers and anyone looking for their new furry best friend are encouraged to come out to Hanahan Amphitheater on Saturday, April 9th from noon until 6 pm.

This all-day kid and dog-friendly music festival will feature several bands, some of the Lowcountry’s best food trucks, and 9 local rescue groups. Gates will open at 11 am and the fun will go on until 7 pm.
