This restaurant started in 1778 and has a fantastic varying menu. There is also an attached building for the Chef's tasting room. They have an ever changing tasting menu that was such a fun culinary experience.

Beautiful restaurant with an old European feel and an entrance down a charming little alley off East Bay Street. Great beer list. The sort of restaurant where you’re in good hands if you order dishes that include caviar, terrines, bone marrow, liver mousse etc. They do pork chops and pork porterhouse very well. The menu is seasonal.

Nothing says “fresh” like McCrady’s rooftop garden, where many of the restaurant’s ingredients are grown. With a commitment to supporting local farmers, fisherman, and food artisans, McCrady’s changes its menus daily to serve only the freshest seasonal dishes

The restaurant was established in 1778 and welcome it’s guests since then. The restaurant itself was the host for wonderful events through out it’s existence, for example they threw a party for President George Washington during his visit to the south, back in 1791. The restaurant itself is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places and Landmarks. For me this place was precious, because of the person I went there with. He was the one, who chose the place and made the reservation. He wanted to go there to taste the food of Sean Brock who was the Executive Chef of the restaurant earlier this year ( the current Executive Chef of the restaurant is Orlando Pagàn, who took the restaurant over from Sean Brock in summer 2018). Funny fact is that he had business with the above mentioned restaurant Minero as well.
