Sullivan’s Island without power due to downed power line! This is as of just after 6pm tonight. Many locations have closed early but it would be nice to offer help for kegs that might go bad.

🧐 DYK: You can be fined up to $100,000 for disturbing dolphins while they are strand feeding. Strand feeding is when they trap fish against a sand bank, marsh, or dock. It typically occurs in the summer and fall months around low tide and if they are disturbed, they miss out on a big food source and it could affect their behavior in the future.

Extended: The Town of Sullivan’s Island extended its mask mandate ordinance Monday night, which directs customers and workers at business (including retail) establishments to wear face masks. Masks also required in or on outdoor spaces including parks, playgrounds, and beach access points. 😷
