Russian-born, New York-influenced jazz singer Svetlana will perform at Forte Jazz Lounge on September 23rd at 7 pm and at 9 pm. Svetlana is a vocalist, composer, band leader, educator, and a Manhattan School of Music MA and Columbia PhD graduate. She was a Finalist of the Paul Carr’s 2019 Discovery Act Competition, finalist of the American Music Abroad program, and an alternate of the 2019 and 2020 American traditions vocal competitions.
