Guests are invited to the family and dog friendly event to enjoy sweet and tangy margaritas, music and top-of-the-line tacos from the restaurant’s food truck, such as their Al Pastor, Barbacoa and Pollo Tinga.

To celebrate James Island favorite Jalisco Taqueria turning three years old, the beloved Mexican restaurant is offering specials on popular dishes Dec. 12-18. Guests can enjoy $3.50 tacos like Al Pastor with fire roasted pork and fresh pineapple, or Carne Asada with juicy flank steak, as well as $3.50 queso all week long. Classic Margaritas can be sipped for only $6, and their Cadillac Margarita, topped with a splash of Grand Marnier and rimmed with sea salt, is only $7.

Participants can submit a photo of their pet before the event and The Traveling Canvas will sketch an outline of their furry friend to paint. Tickets are $60 per person and the event will be capped at 12 guests. Jalisco’s full menu will be available for purchase during the event and includes $3 tacos and $5 Classic margaritas during Happy Hour.

Join Jalisco for a pet-friendly Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 5th, in their spacious parking lot from 4 pm to 9 pm. Come celebrate and bring your pup for a dog costume contest beginning at 5 pm. The best-dressed pups will receive toys and treats as prizes. The restaurant will also have a Kid’s Candy Pinata, raffle, taco eating contest, boozy pinata game for the adults, keg and canned Tecate. Registration for the taco eating contest is from 6-7 p.m. with a kickoff time of 8 p.m ($20 buy-in). The participant who can eat their ten taco pack the fastest wins 50% of the pot, along with a Jalisco t-shirt and hat. Pluff Mud Pottery Workshop- March 22, 6:00-8:30 p.m.Avid tequila-drinkers are invited to sip margaritas, eat guacamole and paint their very own margarita glass with the help of Pluff Mud Pottery. Registration includes a seat at the bar, paint and supplies, and one unfinished margarita glass to paint. Finished masterpieces will be taken by the Pluff Mud Pottery team back to their studio for glazing, firing and packaging, and painters can pick up their finalized glasses from Jalisco on March 29.
