🤩NEW SHEM CREEK RESTAURANT: RB’s Seafood has been closed for 2 years now and there are plans in the works to replace it with a new concept “On The Water.” Neighboring business owners are excited about the possibility but unfortunately for diners there will be no additional parking for the new space at the already crowded lot. The plans will be discussed on February 23rd at 5pm at the Commercial Design Board meeting and public comment will be allowed.

😱SHRIMP BOAT SINKS: The Hampton Caroline started sinking on Sunday and spilled 50-100 gallons of fuel into the creek according to the Coast Guard. The owners of the boat are devastated and concerned about the pollution. The Coast Guard and other agencies worked to remove the fuel yesterday, which should help the spill, but there is still risk of environmental impact.
