Nothing quite compares to Capri--this little island town has a special place in my heart and always has me going back. Amazing shopping, gorgeous views, and beautiful seafood and wine.

With everyone flocking to the Amalfi Coast these days, an overlooked island is definitely Capri. It's such a photogenic little town full of life and lemon trees - the place where Limoncello is literally everywhere.

Take a boat from Sorrent to Capri — The views are amazing, the destination in itself is a place to mark on your must sea. The seas are so intensely colored and once you arrive, there are a number of delicious places to eat. This island is also famous for its custom sandal making. Make sure to bring your wallet!

This stunning island off of the coast of Italy is one of my favorites—the views are beautiful with greenery and flowers around every corner. Many of the restaurants offer fresh seafood that is caught daily—I love finding a breezy restaurant and enjoying a glass of white wine while I’m visiting. Capri offers great shopping with many designer stores; they also have little shoe shops where you can go and have custom-made sandals made right in front of you.

The gateway to the island of Capri is from the Amalfi coast, specifically Sorrento, where I visited in 2014. Capri is a luxurious vacation destination located in the Bay of Naples that is famous for its perfume, lemons, Blue Grotto- a sea cave that glows a fluorescent blue color, and Caprese salads! This island has an upper level that can be accessed by a gondola, which will bring you to the main square, Piazza Umberto I. This island is also characterized by unique rock formations scattered along the coastline, which I recommend seeing from a boat tour.

Here you'll be having Limoncello day and night. It's such a quaint and beautiful spot on the coast of Italy that deserves a couple of days to soak in the magnificient blue waters.

Travel by boat from the port in Sorrento. The most expensive place to visit but arguably the most picturesque, be sure to travel to the south side to see the famous Faraglioni rock formations.
