Here you will find some incredible architecture and one of the best Japanese gardens I have been to. Go at a certain time and you might find yourself lucky enough to watch an organ performance at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion.

Filled with museums, gardens and picture perfect areas. My favorite museum is the Museum of Man, California Tower, and the Japanese Friendship garden.

Dubbed the nation’s largest “urban cultural park,” there really is something for everyone. A few of my personal highlights include the Mingei International Museum, the Museum of Photographic Arts, the San Diego Zoo, and the free gardens (particularly the botanical building, the adjacent lily pond, and the cactus garden)

balboa Park has many places to take some great night photos. The favorite spots are around the reflection pools and around some of the old church’s and fountains. I like to bring my camera here and spend a couple of hours just browsing unique spots to take some great night photography.

Beautiful landmark with nice restaurants such as the Prado and beautiful gardens, museums and more. A great place to just walk around.
