Canoeing in Lake Louise This is another activity that was high on my bucket list to do in Canada! It’s one thing to see the beauty of bright turquoise lakes from afar, but something else entirely to touch the blue frost Gatorade looking water and paddle as you stare in awe of the mountains surrounding you. It’s the moments like these that make me feel the most alive, most appreciative and most thankful.

This is a must! Head to Lake Louise and see the iconic Fairmont which over looks this crazy beautiful lake! Grab a canoe in the summer or some ice skates in the winter to get a different view.

The nature of this place is fantastic in every season. There are amazing lakes to be explored and great hikes to enjoy.The food is very expensive and you have to consider that you are in the middle of the nature. So you can find bears and you rarely will find othe people around. Just a fascinating experience.

No joke perhaps the most beautiful lake on earth. Glacial run off makes the water insanely cold (not for swimming), crystal clear, and super Insta- worthy. Weather is often iffy due to the mountain clouds often rolling in and out. But even if you don't catch a perfect full sunny day it is 100% worth the trip from nearby town of Banff. You can rent canoes to ride around the lake. This would be a very special place to get engaged. Bonus points if you do it ON the canoe (as I actually did!)...just make sure you don't drop the ring!

Even if you’re not typically an early riser, booking a sunrise canoe 🛶 on Lake Louise is totally worth it! So serene and like living in a painting.

This is a really, really popuar tourist spot, but still 100% worth a visit. If you want a less busy experience, try the moderate Plain of The Six Glaciers hike which has a cute little tea shop near the summit you can grab a hot drink at. Make sure you complete the full trail, and not simply stop at the tea house as the views from the true summit are worth the extra bit of hiking.

Thos city gets its name from the bluest, most beautiful lake you will ever see in your life. One of the most calming and peaceful places I’ve ever been to in my life.
