On the tip of the peninsula, you’ll have to get out there early to beat any of the crowds. I used to run this path every single morning when I was living downtown. Beautiful stillness to get ready for each day.

Walk along the Battery at sunset — The Battery is where you will find those large homes that you identify with Charleston. These homes on the water are huge, historic, and absolutely stunning. I was amazed at the beauty and size of these homes, all featuring the quintessential architecture of Charleston.
