Burano is a little island with brightly colored houses along canals. It can be accessed by water taxi from Venice with other stops to Murano and Torcello.

I recommend to visit Burano as it’s about 45 minutes away from Venice and get there with the number 12 vaporetto. You can see the beautiful colourful houses of the fisherman’s and relax as it is less crowded than Venice and see the Oblique bell tower.
