Cool spot. Great for a cup of coffee and pastry. Pick one up while youre walking around Georgetown cause tables are super hard to come by.

The best cupcakes in Georgetown. The icing is not overwhelming and the cake part is fluffy and light. Wide variety of flavors.

The best bakery in town (sometimes people even lineup outside). This place has cupcakes of almost any kind of flavor you can think of: chai, almond, lemon, pumpkin, pistachio, including vegan and gluten-free options.

One of the biggest non-political debates in DC is whether Baked and Wired or Georgetown Cupcakes is better. Baked and Wired wins (plus, you get a larger cupcake for about the same price). I like their Razmanian Devil and OMG Bar (freeze it before eating).

Sorry, but seriously forget about Georgetown Cupcakes. Cross the street and head about three blocks down to Baked and Wired where your mind will be blown with flavors like UniPorn and Smurfette. They've also got a very extensive (and delicious) range of vegan/gluten-free desserts!
