Descanso Gardens

I have been enjoying Descanso Gardens since I was a child and it gets more beautiful every visit. These gardens are tucked away along the mountains of La Cañada/ Flintridge. This is a wonderful activity for all generations.

Halloween @ Descanso!! Take a socially-distanced stroll through a hay maze, pumpkin arch, wooden jack-o'-lantern boxes, scarecrow trail through the forest, and a house made ENTIRELY out of pumpkins!

Descanso Gardens

Descanso Gardens invites you to take a moment to reflect and enjoy the beauty that's all around us with Reflections at Descanso, a celebration of all that’s hopeful and peaceful in this world. Running through January 10th, the daytime festivities will include art pieces, special plantings, self-guided activities and a beautiful Wishing Tree created by Artist Kaz Yokou Kitajima. Tickets must be purchased in advance at descansogardens.org. Pricing is the same as general admission. Check out Wishing Tree, the artist will reuse the wood from a recently felled oak in the garden to make this special piece all about hope and wishes for the new year, and visitors are invited to make a wish for the new year. More exhibits include; Golden Grove, Floral Arches, the Reflective Tree, Winter Plantings, and Deer Sculptures. Advance ticketing is required and can be purchased at descansogardens.org. Admission is $15 for adults; $11 for seniors and students with a school I.D.; $5 for children 5 to 12, and free for children under 5. The Gardens will be open every day except for Dec. 25.
