Highly recommend hiring a private boat for the day here to take you to see other islands and views of the walls/city from the outside. If you go with enough friends then the private boat will be a better deal than the arranged tours and you’ll get to visit any islands you’d like to without a set itinerary

A cruise line favorite and a Game of Thrones stop for fans. And a destination for everyone walking behind tour guides with numbered signs. It’s crowded as hell. Best time to go would be evening when the passengers return to their ship and most every one else goes back to their busses and hotels. It’s also crazy expensive. Prices have doubled in the last year. Only go if you’re a GOT fan.

Visit only in the evenings and during off season like November. Otherwise it can get very crowded and it's quite unpleasent to walk around. However I still love the city, time stops there, it also has most colourful sunsets I've seen. The best thing is you can watch the sunset from anywhere, because the city is sort of built on the mountainside and it's quite interesting to watch those massive cruise boats go into the sunsets.

The Old Town of Dubrovnik is filled with gorgeous views and red rooftop homes. I loved taking a walking tour of the city walls and learning about the deep history and wars that were tragic but made it the rich town it is today.

Beautiful walled city in Croatia with exquisite churches and views. Be sure to check out Buza, a cool cafe bar where you can cliff jump off the rocks along the city walls. Unfortunately very touristy at times. Btw this is King’s Landing from Game of Thrones
