There are many markets scattered throughout the city with one at the front of the famous Schönbrunn Palace, but my favorite is at the Rathaus (town hall)

The city of mozart! I loved all the cute cafes and coblestone streets. The chocolate is also amazing.

Most people visit Vienna while also visiting Prague and Budapest, because they are all close in proximity. It is more on the Eastern side of Europe, but I wouldn’t call it Eastern Europe. It is a big European city with Baroque-like architecture and few s

is the land of large GORGEOUS palaces, go to Schonbrunn Palace – it’s beautiful and free for admission, you should buy tickets and go into the garden if you have time, and Belvedere Palace is AMAZING, kind of out of the way but super cool

Have you ever been to Vienna for Christmas? I don't know if there could be a much more beautiful city. When everything is bitterly cold, when the city is filled to a white dreamland with tons of fairy lights and you make yourself comfortable with Wiener Schnitzel and a Linzer Torte in one of the quaint cafes: that's where the true Christmas spirit comes up!

I am going to be honest with you, I was not the biggest fan of this city at all. I know a ton of people who LOVED it, but to me there wasn't anything special about it that stuck out. I felt like I had already seen the city before when I was walking around it. It is a very bright, clean and pretty city though. I wish I would have gone to some of the smaller towns to experience Austria instead.

Vienna is considered the best city in the world to live in. The balance of art, culture, food, night life, history, and hospitality can be found in very few other places. You could spend months in Vienna and still not see everything. The capital of Austria is not one to miss on a tour of Europe.
