Oh my…. I love Tacos!!!! When we arrived to Charleston we already had a dinner reservation, but two hungry souls will find the nearest place to eat some soul food. So here is how it went, we walked around the Battery park, and on our way we were checking for places to grab a quick lunch. And not far from there on East Bay street we found Minero. What a place, it is located on the first floor and has a charming vibe from the moment you enter. They have a great variety on tacos as well as quesadillas, burritos and they offer plates to share. Here was the first time ever found myself wondering as soon as our food arrived, that where is the silverware? So to find it, you should pull out a drawer which is attached to the table from the bottom at your right hand side. There you’ll find your utensils as well as the napkins. So since we were not that hungry and we knew what we were signed up for later on we just decided to try out the Tacos what they have to offer. I have to say they all were delicious.

Best Mexican (as in Mexico, not Texas) in town. No sour cream here. One of the best burritos I’ve ever had complete with homemade Queso de Oaxaca. Tacos fantastic - try the Carnitas and the Fried Catfish. Tortillas made fresh in-house.

I live in San Diego, so I know good tacos and their tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had, I’ve also never been to a Mexican place that servers burgers, but this place has the #3 burger in CHS! Apparently the chef is known for creating super creative dishes and even made custom recipes for their unique salsas.

A casual Mexican eatery, I suggest stopping in for a taco between meals. The ambiance is fun and inviting, the food packed with spices and flavor. The tortillas were out of this world, warm and pliable.

On the first day when we got to Charleston we had lunch at an awesome taco place there, called Minero. After lunch we wondered around Waterfront Park and Bay street mismerized by the colors of the houses and their view on the bay.

Upscale taco spot. Tacos are perfectly sized and extremely fresh/delicious. Margaritas are also delicious.
