How many museums can you visit before you get restless? Maybe 2 or 3 and then your brain goes into culture & history overload. When you travel, do something you have never down before. Go hiking with a tour group or trying snorkeling. You'll be surprised what fears you'll overcome in the pursuit of happiness. Adventure tours can also be a great way to burn calories while exploring. Before you know it, you will have hiked 5 miles and still have energy. Leave your club outfit at home and pack some durable walking/ hiking/ running sneakers. Clubbing is pretty much the same in EVERY country. In the past year, I have skydiving, repelled down a waterfall and went scuba diving. I'm not sure where the hell this person came from, but I'm loving every bit of this new exploration. Traveling is one of my favorite pastimes. I get a renewed sense of purpose and a new outlook on life with every new experience. In corporating fitness into your travel routine can keep you in tip top shape. Imagine coming home from vacation with lots of energy, a tan and muscles. Treat your body good all the time even when you take a break.

Cinque Terre is a string of centuries-old seaside villages on the Italian coastline. In each of the 5 towns, colorful houses and vineyards cling to steep terraces, harbors are filled with fishing boats and trattorias turn out seafood specialties along with the Liguria region’s famous sauce, pesto. The Sentiero Azzurro cliffside hiking trail links the villages and offers delightful sea views and sunsets.

By far the prettiest place I have ever seen, go in the beginning when weather is nice for a weekend. Do the 6 mile hike from town to town it ends in Vernazza (BEAUTIFUL) & (I had a small asthma attack but you will survive) (this town is the PESTO capital of the world) Go to all 5 beach towns and just shop and walk around, enjoy it it’s quaint and rustic features We got an airbnb in Levanto and did a day there I recommend that (cute, little beach town)

Cinque Terre literally translates to “Five Lands” - it is a string of century old seaside towns o the Italian Riviera coastline. It is hard to get around by car due to the landscape, but a train runs from each of the five cities very efficiently, although crowded in the Summer. There is also a walking trail that connects the towns that I highly recommend using to commute from town to town because it offers the absolute best views of the whole region. Each town spécialisés in locally produced wines that is available for tasting in most restaurants. This region is also famous for being the origin of pesto and produces the freshest in the world. A day in the cinque Terre drinking wine and eating pesto pasta? You can’t get much better than that.

The five towns that make up Cinque Terre are among the most beautiful coastal spots in the world. While it takes more than one day to visit all five (especially if you're hiking between them), you can stop by a few during a quick day trip from Florence.

Cinque Terre takes a little more planning then just hoping on the train! But is totally worth the visit! Explore 5 quaint Italian cities clinging to a cliff above the Mediteranean! Explore Cinque Terre by foot, train, or boot for breaktaking views!

Another jaw-dropping place to visit in Italy is Cinque Terre in the north. Cinque Terre is a string of five seaside villages located on the rocky Italian Rivera coastline. The five villages all have colorful homes and shops that are built into the cliffs, making it inaccessible to drive through this UNESCO World Heritage site and protected national park. Luckily, there is a train that will get you from La Spezia Centrale station (entrance into the park) to each of the villages. If you want to experience Cinque Terre in its full glory, I recommend opting to hike between the villages instead. The trails are well-marked and will bring you alongside the turquoise coastline. When I visited in August, my friends and I hiked from the fourth village, Vernazza, to the fifth and last village, Monterosso al Mare. The hike was difficult and took about two hours, but the award of swimming in the crystal-clear, warm ocean, followed by a gelato made it all worth it.

This one’s kind of cheating as Cinque Terre is really a collection of 5 small Italian towns clustered along the coast. Each having its own distinct flavor, you can hike between all five within a day and experience some amazing scenery and cuisine.

Cinque Terre is the spot for outdoor lovers. It features amazing sea viewing trails with sprinkled small towns along the coast. But don't skip the 6th and hidden town, Ponte Venere and the long but sublime trail that leads to it.

Just go to all the town and hike through the ones you can, you have to pay to get Take the ferry from the first town to the last town (but buy a ticket only for the town over cause they don’t check and it’s the cheapest option like 3 euro) and you get a great view of them from the sea - Hike hike hike hike hike – bring gymshoes it’s not a super easy hike, lot of steep hills/stairs access to the hiking trail, there are also trains that go through all the little towns - Corniglia has about 300 steps to get up to the city but 100% worth it, best sandwich shop and its the hometown of pesto - Monterosso has a beach which is awesome to relax with, more of a boardwalk scene
