Negombo is a convenient 30 mins from the Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) and has one of the best beaches in the greater metropolitan area of Colombo. If you have time check out Negombo beach park, Angurukaramulla Temple, Negombo Lagoon, or one of the many thriving fresh fish markets near the shore.
