Everything is within walking distance. A small island full of so many lovely people. Best part about islands, they're surrounded by beaches.

The historic importance of Malta and the 365 churches on the tiny island mean that there is no shortage of interesting stories. Visit the capital, Valletta, for good food and a historic walk through of the magnficient architecture that saved them from many wars. Sliema is the hip part of town, offering bars and bay-side restaraunts.

Did you know: That the colorful "Popeye Village" in Malta was originally built as a film set for the musical film "Popeye" starring Robin Williams? Today, it's an open-air museum and sea-side resort.IG video credit: @beautifuldestinations
