I love portugal for it's mix of modern and old and anyway where you look it's beautiful. but I especially like the unique atmosphere of this country: a calm, a modesty which rest after the fiesta and the pride of the big Spanish neighbor

As a brazilian it was a great experience to be there because they had big influences on my brazilian culture. Their accent, their food, the colours of Lisboa and the culture are amazing.

Portugal is heaven on earth. You must visit Lisbon, you must spend your nights out in Barrio Alto and search for the one euro bar there for drinks. Pasteis de Natas are heaven in your mouth, and it's best to go to the riginal Natas store in Belem which was open in 1837, it's called Pasteis de Belem. Get your natas fresh from the oven, sprinkled with powdered sugar and enter into your own food heaven.

Portugal is color. Like that of the azulejos, which cover the many churches scattered everywhere. For example, go to Porto and admire the beautiful Saint Ildefonso.

The Eastern most country in Europe is one of the best places to visit if you like seafood. They also boast one of our favourite deserts, Natas, an egg pastry that will surely win your hearts. Great views, amazing food, and a lively Spanish flavour all all great reasons to visit Portugal.
